Looks I'm Loving Lately

Sometimes, when I'm not feeling very motivated, I turn to celebrities for style, makeup, hair and fashion inspiration. 

Here are some of my favorite looks lately:

I'm really loving Alessandra Ambrosio's shimmery, smokey eyes here as well as her carefree hair.  The style it polished but not too perfect. It also looks like her hair is a bit darker than usual, I love it on her.

I can never quite get enough of Blake Lively. I want to know how she always manages to have such glowing skin. I love that her hair is always kind of wild and looks like she did it herself. Also---those legs.  Seriously, they go on for days!

Audrina Patridge's bikini pics are quite inspiring---but I just couldn't resist throwing in some shots of her with "Giggy," Lisa Vanderpump's lovely little pup from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. How cute is he!? Also---her hair is always styled so pretty--- I wonder if she's getting blowouts or using hot rollers or what?

I am absolutely loving the very subtle ombre look that Hilary Swank has going on here. It's so blended and pretty.  I love that there's enough contrast to have an ombre look, but not so much that it's jarring.




Cheryl Cole can just do no wrong. The big hair, pretty makeup and gorgeous gown---

When I saw these photos of Christine Teigen, I loved both her hair (the way the curls are soft, subtle and go away from her face) and her gorgeous makeup---the glowing cheeks and glossy lips are just perfect! It looks like she's also darkened her hair since the last time I saw photos of her---maybe all of the VS models are darkening their locks up a bit!

I am loving Katie Holme's hair---especially in the last photo. It's always so glossy and I love her simple cut and polished style.  She is looking really cute lately!




Another hot momma is Heidi Klum. I'm always amazed by her incredible figure (after 4 kids!!!) and how she always looks effortlessly chic from her hair, to her sunglasses to how she can rock jeans like no one else. When I'm a mom, I'd love to remain stylishly chic like she is! Also---is it me, or can she pull off a simple, straight, past the shoulders haircut better than anyone you know?




Love this belt over a long dress look that Leanne Rimes is sporting.  And yes, for those wondering, I have seen recent photos of her, which, if they are unaltered then yes,
she is very very skinny in them---much skinnier than in the
bikini shots I posted a few months ago.

I love Mila Kuni's entire outfit here (on a movie set).  That skirt is so cute and flattering and I just love the heels the outfit is paired with and the casual top and cardi.  I would wear this outfit---except I'd need to skirt to be a little longer!

There's just something about Sienna Miller. Every time I see pictures of her I fall in love with her hair, makeup, style.  She is just cute and stylish all around. She's also such a natural beauty that even minimal makeup gives her a gorgeous look.  Jealous!

I'm a huge Modern Family fan and I adore Sofia Vergara.  She is so gorgeous and her character on the show is hilarious (actually, every single character on that show is hilarious.) She is such a natural beauty and her body is incredible.



Lastly, I just had to include the lovely Carrie Underwood. She's a true southern girl--- hair and makeup always impeccably done and a sweet smile. Love her!

2011 Celebrity Beauty Inspiration: Shantel VanSanten

Shantel VanSanten is one of those under the radar celebrities.  I watch her on One Tree Hill each week (yep, I watch OTH, flame away!)  and once saw her and Robert Buckley at the airport (I would have asked for an autograph or picture, but I was wearing turquoise, paint-stained cropped sweatpants---don't ask.) You can read the story about my little airport encounter with this cute couple here (they were also on my plane, but I didn't want to be a creepy stalker left them alone.)

After seeing some cute photos of Shantel at a recent fashion week show, I decided to Google her to see more gorgeousness.  I think she may be my new beauty role model. Glowing skin, check. Flowy hair, check. Always smiling, check. Gorgeous yet not overdone makeup, check.  What's not to love?  Plus her character on OTH is lovely, no matter how corny the script is (did I mention I cry every episode? I'm a sap.)

She is one of the few celebrities I know who can really pull off any hair color. Blonde, brunette, redhead, she's done it all, fabulously.

Also---her makeup is stunning.  She is naturally very pretty of course, but the way her makeup is done perfectly defines her features without overshadowing them.  And please, for the love of God, someone tell me how she gets that perfect glow to her skin so we can all benefit from whatever product(s) she's using.  Seriously, LOOK at her cheeks in every picture! Beautiful.

Another thing I admire about her is how she wears her hair pulled back a lot. This is something I've never been comfortable with, but she pulls it off effortlessly and looks gorgeous doing so.

Now, back to the hair. Lately on OTH, she's been wearing it down in bouncy loose waves and it's so pretty.  She seems to be going blonder as the season goes on, which I like. I also love her hair sort of a lighter brown with highlights, very pretty and natural looking.

Looks I'm Loving Now: Celebrity Fashion & Beauty Inspiration

Every once in awhile I love to do these posts and I love it when other bloggers do them too!  Here's the celebs I've been inspired by lately:

Rachel Bilson---always looking lovely and stylish. She's so petite but she always knows how to dress to flatter her proportions. I am digging her entire outfit---love the neutral dress paired with the bright jacket!

Lauren Conrad's new hair- lovely!  I always said I prefer her as a blonde, but her new brunette locks with sunny face-framing highlights gets two thumbs up from me!

Katie Holmes has been looking so chic and adorable lately. She is really beautiful and has those classic, elegant features.

I've been taken aback by how gorgeous Jennifer Lopez has been looking on American Idol. She really does have that "glow" to her. I have no idea what makeup she uses---but we ALL need it, because she looks so incredibly radiant all the time.  So jealous!
Paging JLO---how can we get your glow?

 I loved Glee's Dianna Agron's makeup here- so pretty!

Model Brooklyn Decker looks stunning- even in minimalistic makeup and undone hair. Okay, so I'm jealous of her too. I can't wait to see her movie coming out mid-month,
"Just Go With It" with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Are you going to see that movie?

Kate Hudson has a lot going on here----but she looks chic and effortless. Love her bag too!

Carrie Underwood---she can do no wrong. I'm so excited she's pregnant! Can't wait to see her lil' baby bump okay, so it's a rumor---but I'm excited for when she will be! (all these celebs announcing their pregnancies recently are not doing much good for my baby fever!)

Now, I don't want to get all dramatic here....but I think Mila Kunis' highlights may be the most perfect ones I've ever seen.  They are subtle, blended and woven in perfectly to complement her darker strands. Sigh.
